Delícias Vauxhall is a Portuguese and Brazilian deli and cafe at 280 Wandsworth Road in Nine Elms. The shop combines eat in food, takeaway and specialist groceries, giving customers a place to enjoy breakfast or lunch while also browsing products that bring the flavours of Portugal and Brazil into the home.
Fresh bread, Portuguese pastries and aromatic coffee set the tone in the morning. Pastel de nata offers crisp pastry and creamy custard, while bola de Berlim, pão de queijo, croissants, coxinha and other savoury snacks provide choices that move between sweet, buttery, crisp and richly filled.
Sandwiches can be prepared in rolls, panini, ciabatta or baguette with cured meat, cheese, chicken, tuna or vegetables. The signature prego no bolo do caco fills soft Madeira bread with sirloin steak and garlic butter, with more generous versions adding ham, cheese, salad, egg and caramelised onion.
Changing daily dishes may include roast suckling pig, bacalhau à Brás, bifana, feijoada and caldo verde. Brazilian tapioca and açaí bowls offer lighter alternatives, while Portuguese wine, Guaraná and a broad grocery selection complete a cafe and deli experience rooted in both culinary traditions.
