So Bar Richmond is an independent cocktail bar and restaurant at 10 Brewers Lane in Richmond’s historic lanes. Its intimate, candlelit setting uses table service and works well for date nights, small groups and drinks accompanied by a full selection of sharing food.
The current kitchen is hosted by MIA, a sister brand of Little Bird Chiswick, bringing Asian-inspired dishes together with Mediterranean touches. Seafood, meat and vegetarian plates are designed to arrive as they are ready, encouraging the table to share several flavours.
Dishes can include salt and pepper squid, king-prawn tacos, chicken skewers, gyoza, arancini and falafel tacos. Charcuterie-style meat, cheese and vegetarian boards remain available outside the principal kitchen hours, providing a lighter option with drinks.
Fresh-fruit cocktails and house-made syrups and infusions are a defining part of the bar, supported by wine, draught and soft drinks. Guests with allergies should speak to staff before ordering, particularly because the kitchen handles nuts, seeds and other allergens.
