Masala Zone Covent Garden is an Indian restaurant at 48 Floral Street, close to the theatres, shops and piazza of Covent Garden. Its colourful dining room combines a sophisticated contemporary design with a celebrated display of traditional puppets, creating a memorable setting for informal meals and special gatherings.
The menu explores food from across India rather than concentrating on a single region. Influences from Punjab, Delhi, Lucknow, Goa, Hyderabad, Kerala and Bengal appear through curries, biryani and regional specialities, allowing diners to discover a broad range of spices, sauces and cooking traditions at one table.
Street food starters bring the lively flavours of chaat, samosas, chilli fried seafood and other small plates, while thalis offer a complete and varied meal. Vegetarian dishes are central to the selection, the meat is halal, and breads, rice and chutneys provide plenty of ways for groups to share.
Mango lassi, wine and zingy cocktails complement the food, while dedicated children’s choices help make the restaurant practical for families. Its central location suits meals before or after a performance, and a private dining room gives larger parties a richly decorated space of their own.
