Brix is a restaurant, bar and events venue at 16 Great Guildford Street near London Bridge. Set inside the former Metal Box Factory, its large warehouse space takes inspiration from New York grills and all day dining, combining food cooked over fire with music, cocktails and a lively programme of weekend events.
Small plates build the meal around smoke, spice and contrasting textures. Merguez Scotch egg, pig’s head croquettes, fire roasted bone marrow, charred smoked mackerel, blistered Padron peppers and sweetcorn fritters can be shared alongside Parker House rolls, olives and a selection of house sauces.
The grill produces bavette and ribeye steaks, a dry aged beef burger, glazed short rib bao buns and a substantial Brix board for groups. Grilled poussin, sea trout and hot honey cauliflower broaden the main selection, while fries, cabbage and tenderstem broccoli provide simple sides suited to the richer dishes.
Weekend brunch moves through a full breakfast, steak and eggs, short rib with eggs, chicken and waffles, pancakes and French toast, while Sunday brings a traditional roast. Burnt cheesecake, sticky toffee pudding and seasonal sweets finish the food menu, with bespoke cocktails, beer and late evening music extending the experience.
